please take everything i say here with grain of salt of I DONT KNOW ANYTHING

Questions:

A- unprecedented change?

What defines an unprecedented change? is the direction of analogue > digital enough to justify? Isn't hunters > farmers more of a direct influence on how humans act?

B- algorithm native mind?

I agree about the influence of algos in our current world, but I have to wonder about the short attention span = distrubuted cognition. When drawing, its more focus driven to have your whole brain focused on the task at hand then what defines as short attention span? I don't agree with the fact the information is infinite nor does it accesiblity is immediate, we still have to go thru loading screens and subscribtion fees or walls for paychecks no? Its less then before, but it's still there.

also there is still like 2.2billion people without internet access. how could they develop an algo mind if they don't even have access ?-? ITU INT

C- Lonlyness paradox

First of all, big thing about physics being the underlying factor, its not like people sent mail or packages to others before the age of internet, also the question of knowing and relationships depths flattened. So like the question of social reality questions me high aspects on -> "THE DEPTH" part, like yes you can have over 1k internet friends, but you arn't going to contact all of them at the same time? I dunno about the context collapse into a single feed is a good questioning? Since most times when you have conversations with friends don't you forget like 90% about what you talked about afterwords? Social contexts wern't really that well delineted back then, at least what bars serve as before and "Looking for a new friend" wasn't really a choice, it was just the causality of you being closer with someone physiclly I agree with. Also the part about breakfest confuses me, isn't that kinda just a icebreaker normally? You wouldn't ask someone everyday about what they ate no?

The falling apart thing is somewat yeah problem, or who we need to call when falling apart- but if your physical distance thing is also influenced in the now wouldn't the most likely chance either be they are busy or you have to WAIT before gaining access to them for talking? Now with the advent of digital there is less WAIT time to send a questioning of busy before diving into the depth??

I dunno

D- Authenticiity Trap

This is just a questioning about how does splitting your identity creates this net effect of having diffrent versions of your self displayed Its not like you talk to your guardians the same way as you talk to your colleagues, nor is the same way you talk to your friends. Yes the media have influence on when you try seperating each version of yourself, its signifigantly more in digital then in anolgue, its not like its non exsistant.

E- Economic Reality Check

YES I AGREE MOVEON

F- the ai thing

NO You could say the same thing about the previous gen they think more with paper then previous gens, its like saying yes this is our best running media right now, please insert it into your thought space and keep talking. we shaping algos is true, but also algo shaping is true, its not like we did not have human filters newspapers in the past, just bigger scale. Not like algos can't be wrecked by human intervention?

G- Mental Health.

I agree with the fact its just more people being diagonosed then before due to the spread of data and algo, but like the enviorment thing. It feels wrong to mention that our brain is adapting things that humans wasnt evolved for? What were humans evolved for? Hunting was at the start then we started pushing towards farming and later creating taming? Like what exactly creates the anxiety driven bubble? OR is it the same thing as yes we are getting more people diagonosed?

H- Fun idea but orginality still exsits

I agree with the iterations of thinng, that is more of causality of media becoming more prevelent and able to be recorded for long enough to have a centre for how the people can view each piece. The context thing is iffy, like we are still reliant on the media we are given access to (No matter if its algos, ai, or just the digital vs anlogue) however remixing isn't the same as originality until you hit a scale, or rather remixs when the other person doesnt know the context = orignial creation, the originals obscure the fact. Also nothing is original have been said pre-digital so its not like we did not know?

I- Future Interference.

“I've come up with a set of rules that describe our reactions to technologies:

  1. Anything that is in the world when you’re born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works.
  2. Anything that's invented between when you’re fifteen and thirty-five is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it.
  3. Anything invented after you're thirty-five is against the natural order of things.”
